01Why this page exists
Every payment here comes from a business that paid for a real person to look at their page. When somebody fakes that, the business stops buying, and the tasks everybody else was earning from disappear.
Cheating here is not stealing from us. It is stealing from the other workers.
So the rules are strict and we do enforce them.
02One person, one account
This is the rule people break most, so read it twice.
We match accounts on three things.
The payout address. Several accounts sending coins to one FaucetPay email is the clearest proof there is, because the only reason to make extra accounts is to get the money into one place. This on its own is enough for us to act.
The device. Your browser has a fingerprint. It is built from your screen, your fonts, your graphics and about a dozen other things. It survives clearing cookies and it survives private mode. Two accounts on one fingerprint could be a family sharing a laptop. Four is not a family.
The network. This is the weakest of the three and we treat it that way. A hostel, a college or a mobile network can put hundreds of unrelated people behind one address. We use it as background, never on its own.
One match gets looked at by a person. A shared payout address gets acted on.
03Scripts and bots
Tasks are read by people. A script that opens pages and types codes is not a person.
We time every page. A page only counts once it has been open and visible for the required seconds. A page sitting in a background tab does not count.
We also record how long you took from starting a task to typing the code. A task with four pages cannot honestly be done faster than those four pages take to read. Accounts that always sit at that floor get reviewed.
04Things that close an account
- Having more than one account
- Using a script, a bot, a macro or an automated browser
- Sharing your verification codes with anybody
- Using a VPN or proxy to look like you are in another country
- Selling or renting your account to someone else
- Doing tasks for a business account that you control
05What happens when we catch it
When the evidence is clear we suspend the account and the balance in it is not paid out.
That is on purpose. If a cheated balance were only frozen and later handed over, there would be no cost to trying.
When the evidence is not clear we flag the account and a person looks at it before anything happens.
06If you think we made a mistake
Write to support from the email address on your account. Give your username. Say what happened.
If you share a computer or an internet connection with someone else who uses this site, say so plainly. That is a normal situation. It is much easier to hear before a suspension than after one.
We would rather put an honest account back than keep a wrong decision.
