01Priced in dollars, paid in Dogecoin
Businesses buy visits in dollars. Workers get paid in Dogecoin. The bridge between the two is the live market rate, taken at the second you finish a task and saved with that payment forever.
This is why the Dogecoin figure on a task moves during the day while the dollar figure does not. If Dogecoin falls, the same task pays more coins. If it rises, fewer coins.
02What we keep
We keep a set percentage of every task. The percentage is printed on the site.
The number you see on a task before you start is already after we have taken it. What you see is what arrives.
03Two ways to get paid
Straight to FaucetPay. The payment goes out to your FaucetPay address right away. You choose this on the screen that appears when your code is accepted.
Into your balance. The payment sits in your DogeTask balance until you withdraw. There is a smallest withdrawal amount, because sending very small amounts over and over costs more in overhead than the amounts are worth.
Either way the money is yours the moment the code is accepted. The choice is only about where it sits.
04Why FaucetPay
Because a payment worth a fraction of a Dogecoin cannot be sent on the blockchain. The network fee would be bigger than the payment itself.
FaucetPay is a microwallet. It holds small balances off chain and lets you move them out once they are worth moving. It is free to open and it is the normal way sites like this one pay.
We are not connected to FaucetPay and we do not control what they do with your account.
05If a payment fails
If FaucetPay refuses a transfer, the amount goes straight back into your DogeTask balance and the reason is shown in your history. Nothing is lost.
You can try again once the reason is fixed. Usually the reason is an address that is not registered at FaucetPay.
06Changing your payout address
You can change it in your account.
We record the change and review it, because an address that changes just before a big withdrawal also looks exactly like a stolen account.
